  • Every part of The Bimble Inn is designed to operate with the lowest possible power and as effeciently as possible.
  • The Entire venue consumes less power than a kettle.
  • The PA uses the latest switch mode technologies to ensure optimum performance with minium power.
  • Our 16 million colour custom designed LED stage lighting rig uses less power then 2 household light bulbs

    Now for the science bit!
    This year with our added solar requirement for our own Bimble Bandada festival we have built an extra solar rig.
      Rig 1: (separate trailer, also available for hire)
    • 14 x 230W solar panels giving 3.22 kW of power
    • 2800 Ah of batteries
    • 3Kw Pure Sine Wave invertor
      Rig 2:
    • 12 x 180W solar panels giving 2.16 kW of power
    • 2000 Ah of batteries
    • 3Kw Pure Sine Wave invertor
    Total Capacity: 5.38kW Solar - 113kWHrs Batteries



  • We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible within all of The Bimble Inn's operations.
  • All our power is generated by renewable sources.
  • Our main truck operates carbon neutrally on vegetable oil and bio-diesel.
  • We have bio-degradable corn cups for serving drinks. These are manufactured from a renewable resource of corn and bio-degrade in 10 weeks.
  • All waste from behind the bar is separated at the inn and recycled.
